Reflections

It is also possible to mirror a function. The graph of y = - f(x) is the graph of y = f(x), except that it has been reflected around the x axis. Thus, you can imagine putting a mirror along y = 0 and sketching the reflection. The graph of y = f(-x) is similar, except that it has been reflected around the y axis.
