Programs to Help You Understand

In the math department here, we have an open access computer lab (room 226) which is open from 9-6 Monday through Friday. This lab has Windows95 platforms for your use. MathCad, MatLab and Mathematica are all available. There is also a program called WinPlot which graphs 2 and 3 dimensional functions and allows different views and orientations. This program can be downloaded for Win95 at http://www.exeter.edu/~rparris.

Surface Plotter...

is a great program for plotting graphs of functions of two variables. Try it! Please note, this program is written in Java and may not work unless your browser can and is set to support Java applets.

Applets and Notes...
