Chemistry Demonstration Show

The third Annual Chemical Demonstration Show is presented by the Chemical Demonstration Center at St. John Fisher College, co-sponsored by SJFC Chemistry Department and the Rochester Section of the American Chemical Society. This Center will provide a resource to the Rochester community to promote the central role of Chemistry in our everyday lives and the economic development of the area. This family friendly event, free and open to the public, will illustrate basic chemical principles through entertaining and informative demonstrations illustrating properties of materials and their chemical reactions. This event will offer an opportunity, especially for elementary & high school students, to learn about both an important science and the broad range of careers that require a knowledge of chemistry, and talk to chemists working at area colleges and industry.
