FINAL PROJECT

Due Date: Final Exam Week

The project for this class can be selected from any of the categories listed below. Projects will be presented in class on the due date. Attendance is mandatory! Projects may be done alone or with other people in the class. All project topics must be approved by the instructor.

Project Topics

• Research Paper
  The topic for this paper should be related to the Internet. Suggestions for topics include:
• Applications and integration of Internet resources in education
• Issues relevant to privacy, intellectual freedom and the Internet
• History of the Internet
• Commercial uses and development of the Internet
• Social and communication issues relating to the use of the Internet


• Department Web Page
  Work with a department on campus to design a Web page for that department. This web page could include information about the department, a list of all the faculty members, course listings and descriptions, links to other Internet resources that are relevant to the department's area of study.

• Special Projects
  Suggestions for topics include:
  • Design a web page for an SJFC Club on campus
  • Assisting with another department/office on campus already developing a web page
  • Develop a web site with a particular theme
  • Develop a web site for a non-profit organization
