Dr. Katrina Arndt
Associate Professor, Inclusive Education

 


 

 

Dr. Katrina Arndt joined the faculty at St. John Fisher College in January 2005. Prior to entering higher education, she was a paraprofessional and teacher in the public schools in Minneapolis, Minnesota and the Rochester, New York area for many years. She left teaching to pursue her Ph.D. in Special Education at Syracuse University and completed her program in 2005. In 2010, the Special Education, Adolescence Education, and Childhood Education Departments merged to become the Inclusive Education Department.

Her research interests include supporting students with disabilities in inclusive settings, including students who are deaf-blind, and critical analyses of text and film representations of disability.
