This is a classic text in calculus.

Advanced Engineering Mathematics, 6th ed.

Erwin Kreyszig. John Wiley and Sons, New York, 1988.
If you're an engineer, you probably need to take Math 322. This is the text. It's a great reference for all the math you've ever had. And then some.

Introduction to Electrodynamics, 2nd ed.

David Griffiths. Prentice Hall, New Jersey, 1989.
The first chapters of this book are an excellent explanation of the del operator and how to work with divergence, curl and so forth in a meaningful way.
