Jacob Moores Page

"Hello and welcome to my personal page. My name is Jacob Moore and I am a junior at St. John Fisher College. St. John Fisher College is located in Rochester, NY. Over the course of my college career, I have changed my major many times due to the fact that I have so many ideas running through my head. However, I think that the Digital Cultures and Technology program here at St. John Fisher College will teach me how to bring those ideas alive. I am currently enrolled in five classes. The first class that I am enrolled in is Latin. Even though this is my hardest class, Latin is teaching me how to expand my mind and to speak another language.

In addition to this, I am also taking Web Design and Computational Media. Web Design is straight foward in the sense that there aren't alot of complicated methods to think about. However the Computational Media class is a little bit more challenging in the sense that there is more code and more steps to think through. My last two classes that I am enrolled in are Video Storytelling and Intro to Java. As an outsider to Film and Media Production, I am very intrigued by how videos are made and how they all come togher. Intro to Java is an interested class to take as well because it is teaching me how to speak another language. When I am not studying and doing homework, I can often times be found in mainstage. Mainstage is where everyone goes to just chill and play pool.
Pool has always been a passion of mine. I am enthralled and captivated by how easiy pro pool players control the cue ball. In pool, the cue ball is the white ball that hits the object ball into a pocket. However there are many other aspects of pool such as positioning(where the cue ball is left after a shot),defense, speed control, and run outs. All of these elements come together to make the game of pool simply beautiful."
