  • Means "Marshy Pine Forest"
  • Found in the Northern Hemisphere

 

What is the Climate like?
  • The average temperature is below freezing for six months of the year
  • Because of the tilt of the axis the winter nights are long and the summer days are long
  • It is warm and humid during the summer months
