Primary Function
To display movies and games (that have the capability) in 3D. Glasses are needed to view the 3rd dimension.

Expected Reliability
I believe this 3D laptop will be reliable just like all of Sony's other products. Sony will also be releasing a 3D tv channel to be used with it.

First Hand Impression
I think this would be a wonderful tool in the classroom. I can imagine teaching the students about the ocean. Without having to leave the classroom, I could bring the students to the ocean using the 3D laptop and a movie about oceans.
