Research-Based Writing
Course Description
This course requires students to write personal and expository essays in response to texts and class discussion on a range of issues. Its goal is to improve students' writing and critical thinking. Students work toward understanding texts and exploring and communicating ideas, as well as toward mastery of the conventions of written English. The course design encourages active participation and collaborative learning. Specifically, this course focuses on the issues of food and meat consumption.
