Hydrogen balloon explosion

In this experiment, the flammability of hydrogen gas is demonstrated through the ignition of a hydrogen-filled balloon. Hydrogen, being highly flammable, readily combusts when exposed to a flame. The heat generated by a candle serves as the activation energy required for the chemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen to produce water. The reaction is highly exothermic, releasing a significant amount of heat and resulting in a prodigious explosion. This showcases the reactivity of hydrogen and its potential for combustion when in the presence of an ignition source, emphasizing the importance of handling this gas with caution due to its combustible nature.
