Dr. Alexey Ignatchenko Research Group

Chemistry Demonstration Center at the St. John Fisher College supported by the Rochester local ACS section
The mission of the Center is to provide a resource to the Rochester community to promote the central role of Chemistry in our everyday lives and the economic development of the area. It was established in 2018 to provide free and open to the public chemistry demonstrations which can illustrate basic chemical principles, material properties and chemical reactions, through entertaining and informative experiments. Our goal is to offer an opportunity, especially for students of all ages from an elementary to a high school, to learn about the science of chemistry important for a broad range of careers. Some materials and equipment can be leased to local school teachers on their request. Please, contact Dr. Ignatchenko.
