Flux Integrals

Now we are going to explore flux integrals. We will start with an intuitive idea of flux and then work into the mathematical machinery of the flux integral. So what is flux? Suppose we wish to measure the rate at which water is flowing through a surface. This rate of flow is called the flux. Before we talk about flux we need to consider oriented surfaces.
